Maxell EX5001 5200 Lumens XGA Multimedia Projector

Present in rooms with ambient light with the Maxell MC-EX5001 5200-Lumen XGA 3LCD Projector. It features 5200 lumens of color and white brightness to overcome ambient light in many situations, and its 1024 x 768 XGA native resolution will help keep images and text clear at most viewing distances.
Composite video, two HDMI, and two VGA inputs help ensure compatibility with a variety of source types. One VGA input can instead act as an output to daisy-chain multiple projectors or displays to show the same image source in multiple places. A built-in 16W speaker mitigates the need for an external sound system, though you can use one with the analog audio inputs and output. An IR remote control and a VGA cable are included as an added convenience.
Accentualizer
This technology helps make images appear more real by enhancing sharpness, gloss, and shade. You can also adjust the effects by three levels according to your surroundings so that the colors of projected images are closer to the actual colors of the objects they represent.
DICOM Simulation Mode
The MC-EX5001 offers a DICOM Simulation Mode that allows the projector to simulate the results of devices compliant with the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Part 14 standardized display function, for display of grayscale images. The DICOM Simulation Mode, which supports both Blue and Clear Base, adjusts the gradation between the minimum and the maximum luminance, so gradation is distributed optimally. This feature is optimized for displaying medical images such as X-rays, CAT scans, and MRIs, which makes the MC-EX5001 useful for non-diagnostic purposes such as lectures, academic meetings, and hospital conferences. This feature is recommended for use in medical schools for training and educational use only.
HDCR2 (High Dynamic Contrast Range)
Using HDCR, blurred images caused by room lighting or outside light sources are corrected, helping to make images appear clearer, even in bright rooms.
Image Optimizer
This feature automatically adjusts HDCR and Accentualizer to enhance visibility as lamp brightness dims over time.
MHL
MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) lets you mirror your phone or tablet screen via the projector. It is compatible with nearly all apps.
Moderator Control Mode via Included LiveViewer Software
Using this mode, up to 50 computers can be connected to the projector, and the moderator (host) can choose which images to show on the screen. Each connected computer must have LiveViewer software installed.
Multi Projector via Included LiveViewer Software
Project the same image on up to 12 projectors simultaneously for use in large venues where a single screen isn't enough.
Remote Projector Monitoring and Control
Maxell's Projector Management Software (PJMan) enables you to control, diagnose, and manage one or a group of Maxell projectors, including their power status, lamp hours, and temperature and air filter conditions.

Network Control, Maintenance, and Security
Embedded networking gives you the ability to manage and control multiple projectors over your LAN. Features include event scheduling, centralized reporting, image transfer, and email alerts for reactive and routine maintenance.
Computer-Less Presentation
By using a USB memory stick or other storage devices, you can use the projector without a computer. Menus are easy to see with a thumbnail display. There is also a slideshow function that supports various file types such as JPG, PNG, BMP, and GIF. You can also send the content directly from your computer via your LAN with Maxell's networking software.
Perfect Fit 2
Perfect Fit 2 lets you adjust each corner and side independently of one another. It provides vertical and horizontal digital correction of either barrel or pincushion distortions, helping to correct geometric and complicated distortions. Perfect Fit 2 allows the projected image to fit correctly onto the screen quickly and easily.
PIN Lock / MyScreen / MyText
PIN lock protection can limit projector users. MyScreen PIN lock keeps captured images on the startup screen. Users can set any name logo to MyScreen, clearly identifying ownership. MyText provides the ability to write text on the startup screen, such as model name, serial number, or location.
PJMessenger
PJMessenger allows you to send and display text messages and audio alerts on your networked projectors. It is an easy and efficient way to send announcements out to multiple units.
Projector Quick Connection App for Mobile Devices
Maxell's mobile app offers full projector control and provides the capability to display photos, documents, and website contents. Available for iPad, iPhone, and Android devices, it works over your LAN via your RJ45 port or an optional USBWL11N wireless adapter.
