The ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero is equipped with a wide array of cooling enhancements for extreme gaming sessions. A VRM and dual M.2 heatsink design works alongside the passive chipset heatsink to keep components from overheating, while multiple 4-pin fan headers and the ROG Water-Cooling Zone allow you to install a variety of fan- or water-cooling systems for increased cooling capabilities.

RGB Lighting with Aura Sync

With two 4-pin Aura RGB headers and two 3-pin Addressable gen 2 RGB headers, you can connect a variety of colorful devices to your motherboard for a stylized look. LED Q-code panel shows a two-digit code that reflects system status. FlexKey button acts as a system reset button, Aura lighting activation, safe boot, or BIOS function for quick access.

Four Q-DIMM clips make installation and handling of memory modules simple. To arrange front-panel cables, the Q-connector is included.
