The Plustek SmartOffice PS3150U Document Scanner is a double-sided document scanner that utilizes CIS x 2 image sensors and an LED light source to provide high-quality scans. It has an optical resolution of 600 dpi and a hardware resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, with the ability to scan in color (48-bit input, 24-bit output), gray (16-bit input, 8-bit output), or black and white (1 bit). The ADF tray can hold up to 100 sheets of A4/Letter paper, 30 business cards, or plastic cards up to 1.2 mm thick. The maximum scan speed for the ADF is 50 sheets/100 images per minute for greyscale or black & white scans at 200 dpi. The scanner can also scan at a rate of 45 sheets/90 fps for color mode at 200 dpi when using A4 straight scanning, and 30 ppm/60 fps for color mode at 300 dpi when using A4 straight scanning. The maximum scan area is 216 x 5080 mm (8.5” x 200”), while the minimum allowed paper size is 50.8 x 50.8 mm (2” x 2”). The scanner can detect dual paper feed using ultrasonic wave technology, and has a daily scanning capacity of up to 6,000 sheets. The scanner connects via USB 2.0 and is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10/11 and macOS 10.12.x/10.13.x/10.14.x/10.15.x 11.x/12.x/13.x operating systems.
