The BenQ MOBIUZ EX2510 Monitor 27″ IPS-type panels with 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Adaptive-Sync is supported, including AMD FreeSync Premium with a 48 – 144Hz variable refresh rate range (plus LFC). A matte anti-glare screen surface is employed and 1000:1 static contrast specified, alongside 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles. A flicker-free WLED backlight offers a 400 cd/m² typical maximum luminance and 99% sRGB colour space coverage. Low Blue Light (LBL) settings are included to aid viewing comfort. The BenQ MOBIUZ EX2510 Monitor responds to HDR10 content, but doesn’t offer a suitable colour gamut or contrast-enhancement technology such as local dimming to deliver a ‘proper’ HDR experience. 8-bit colour is supported, but the 10-bit pipeline can be used under HDR with the help of GPU dithering. ‘HDRi’ also features, alongside ‘B.I.+ (Brightness Intelligence Plus)’ – they alter the image based on ambient lighting as well as the content itself. A 1ms MPRT response time is specified using the included strobe backlight setting, whilst a 2ms grey to grey response time is specified. As usual, don’t pay too much attention to such specified response times. The monitor includes a ‘Black eQualizer’ setting to lighten up dark areas of the image, for a competitive advantage. Alongside a new feature called ‘Light Tuner’ that appears to do this whilst perhaps altering other aspects of the image such as saturation at the same time. The included stand offers tilt, swivel and height adjustment (130mm or 5.12 inches). It can be removed using a quick-release button to reveal 100 x 100mm VESA holes for alternative mounting. The ports face downwards beneath a removable port cover. They include; 3.5mm headphone jack, 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, DP 1.2a and an AC power input (internal power converter). 2 x 2.5W treVolo speakers are included for good measure.
